I spent the years between 1999 and 2011 working as an Operations Specialist for consulting engineering companies in Atlanta, GA, Phoenix, AZ, and Riverside, CA. 

Highlights of these years include:

• managing a wastewater operator training program for the City of Atlanta at the three major treatment facilities
• starting up the new solids handling facilities at the 140 MGD Squaw Peak Water Treatment Plant for the City of Phoenix
• starting up the North Black Canyon water distribution system for the City of Phoenix
• being principal author for the Sanitary Sewer Overflow Response Plan for the City of Phoenix
  
• developing content for Electronic Operations Manuals for various clients
  
• starting up a new 8 MGD wastewater treatment plant at the Perris, CA wastewater treatment facility for Eastern Municipal Water District.
